Drama Club

Objectives

• To give students a creative outlet for performance talents.
• To create awareness among students about theatre and drama.
• To make the students learn acting techniques and stage direction.
• To rehearse and perform plays.

The club was officially inaugurated on 12-10-2017 by Actor Abu Saleem.

Members and Officials

The drama club has 25 members from different classes. The club conducted its first meeting on 10-8-2017.

Under the supervision of club in charges, the members of the club unanimously elected the following students as the club officials and committee members.

• Vice-president - Dayana II MSC
• Secretary - Albin II BBA
• Treasurer - Nidhin IIBBA

Activities

The club members conducted five meetings during the academic year. The members discussed the various aspects of drama. The power of drama to influence the society and the relevance of street play in democracy also discussed in meeting.

Members of the club selected and directed a drama. After thorough rehearsal they could stage the drama successfully. The drama was appreciated by the audience.
